The Center for Ethical Solutions (CES) is focused on finding practical answers to the difficult questions of medical ethics and health policy — answers that look beyond the preconceived and the usual, and that provide people with options that might otherwise be overlooked.
CES supports research and educates the public on its findings of practical solutions to problems facing the practice of Medicine. The Center does not provide charitable funds directly to individuals, but does provide the public with information on the most-pressing ethical issues in Medicine. CES accomplishes this by funding research and development of products. CES shares the result of that research with the public. Any proceeds received from products such as books or movies will be used for educational outreach and for funding future research.
Specifically, CES:
Sponsors scholars to research and analyze ethical problems in Medicine and then report and discuss their findings through publishing books, papers, and articles
Produces documentary films, videos, and websites including blogs
Sponsors public discussion groups, forums, panels, lectures, and other similar program
Lobbying, attempting to influence legislation, and taking part in political campaigns are decidedly excluded from the activities of the Center for Ethical Solutions.
